I didn’t want kids; it looked like too much work. And I didn’t want to give up the adventurous freedom of my life. In a way, I was right. Mothering is so much more about putting other people’s dirty dishes into the dishwasher than I ever could have imagined. It’s more scheduling doctor’s appointments, and making sure they have ski boots and summer shoes and sneakers and hiking shoes that actually fit. It’s worrying about their physical, emotional, academic, spiritual, and moral development. It’s repetitive, boring, stinky, infuriating, and unbearably loud. Mothering isn’t what I thought it would be. It’s worse than I thought; and so much more rewarding. Because serving them serves me. The same is true with my students. I offered two free classes last week, and what a gift to share my techniques for content creation with confidence and nervous system downregulation for creativity with so many curious yogis around the world. Thank you for being here. If you're touched by these offerings, ask yourself: who can I serve today? Until next Sunday, |

This month’s class is called Summer Slowdown. It’s just three poses, a journaling prompt, and an invitation to pause. You'll find...
Dear Restorative Yoga Teacher: “I teach yoga” is true—but incomplete. Can you explain your teaching in a single sentence that’s clear, specific, and meaningful to the people you serve? If you give me five minutes, I’ll teach you a simple framework to do exactly that. Watch the video to learn a concise formula, hear five grounded examples, and see one common pitfall to avoid. Because clarity isn’t about oversimplifying, it’s about communication that resonates. And if you want to learn more...
Photo by Dani Chair yoga isn’t real yoga. So if you’re aging, injured, pregnant, recovering, exhausted, or human, you shouldn’t even try to do yoga. Especially not using a chair. Because that’s basically cheating. And everybody knows there’s no benefit to yoga unless you can put your perfect body into perfect shapes. 😂 Don’t agree? Join us this Sunday, July 6th for Graceful Aging: Chair Yoga for Strength and Stability with brilliant yoga therapist Mary Richards. In this online class you’ll:...
